Ricardo Gonzalez, Jr.  is the Owner & Head Instructor at Texas Grappling Academy.  His Jiu Jitsu journey began in 2012 at Renzo Gracie in Corpus Christi, TX under the instruction of Professor Reuben Arredondo.  Ricardo received the rank of blue belt from Professor Reuben Arredondo in 2013.  In 2014, Ricardo moved to San Antonio, Texas and began to train under   Professor Diego Gamonal Nogueira at Brazilian Top Team San Antonio.  In 2022, Ricardo received the rank of Black belt from Professor Gamonal Nogueira.  In addition to over 10 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training, Ricardo has over 8 years of Boxing and Striking experience as well as 6 years of strength and conditioning experience for both youth and adults.
